Tim Sak
Prior to the establishment of Ragú Software, Mr. Sak spent 5 years with Cinergy Marketing and Trading as Lead Applications
Developer. He developed the trade entry and position tracking system used on the Cinergy gas trade floor
for four years. He partnered with TriplePoint Technology to incorporate many of the time saving user interface features
of the Cinergy custom system into their CommoditiesXL product. He managed the project for implementing and testing
controls on IT systems for the initial year of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He was responsible for TIBCO messaging
applications used by interfaces between systems.
Earlier, Mr. Sak was employed for 5 years by Jacobs Engineering where he created a common web-based project interface,
accessible by internal project task forces, as well as by external clients.
Mr. Sak's computer industry experience dates back to the middle 60's when he implemented data acquisition and process
control system installations at various Texas Gulf Coast petrochemical accounts for IBM Corporation. Over the years,
he has been providing network and application support for numerous clients whose businesses include engineering,
manufacturing, retail, insurance, law, oil & gas, and real estate.
Mr. Sak holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State, and a master's from the University of Houston.
Debbie Sak
Ms. Sak has thirty-two years of oil & gas industry experience, and possesses expertise across exploration, production,
engineering, accounting and information technology. Before joining Ragú Software, she was employed by El Paso Production Company as
Director of NonRegulated IT Applications. The NonReg IT Group supports all applications for E&P, including
marketing.
Prior to their merger with El Paso Corporation, Ms. Sak held the position of Vice President - Exploration Systems & IT for
Sonat Exploration Company. And, prior to their merger with Sonat, she was Director - Information Systems for Zilkha
Energy Company.
Ms. Sak has been invited to make presentations at several industry and trade conferences, as she has become a recognized
authority in geoscience applications, data management and integration, technology assessment, and visualization techniques.
